Beginning May 4th, we will be offering a “littles” class for children ages 2-4 every Saturday at 3pm! This class will incorporate play-based learning and a developmentally appropriate curriculum to introduce your child to the world of jiu jitsu. The cost for this class is just $40 per month! No sign-up fees and no contract.
In our Littles Jiu-Jitsu class, we prioritize fun, safety, and skill development in equal measure. Through engaging activities and playful exercises, our instructors will guide them through foundational movements that build confidence and coordination. By joining our class, your child will not only gain valuable physical skills but also learn important social skills like cooperation and respect for others. This class will focus on getting your child used to being on the mats and being active. We will create games, obstacle courses, and activities aimed at getting them comfortable with eachother and with the mats. We will also introduce them to fundamental movements like forward and backward rolling, breakfalling, shrimping, and sprawling.
There will not be any submissions in this class, and we will not teach any technique that could harm another child if it were done unsupervised. The goal of this class is to prepare the toddlers for the Youth Class, which starts at age 5.
